Creative Playscape
The Creative Playscape was built in November 1993 by volunteer citizens for the children of Georgetown. The playscape is a Leather's Design from Ithaca, New York. It is located adjacent to the Recreation Center at 1003 N. Austin Avenue in San Gabriel Park. Amenities include picnic tables, restrooms and benches. The Creative Playscape is a favorite place for birthday parties and school field trips. See attached Texas Monthly article which lists the Creative Playscape as favorite playground in the state.
